Kim Seong Jong is a South Korean novelist and historical fiction/mystery writer who has published more than eighty novels. Many of his novels have been adapted as screenplays. In particular, EYES OF DAWN, which has been sold more than three million copies, was made into a thirty-six-episode miniseries by MBC TV and recorded 58.4% viewership, making it one of the most popular K-dramas of all time.
